These are the lessons imparted by the NBA stars to our national basketball team players:

  1. Always check with your employer before flying out to another country if you can play.
  2. Your level of play depends on whether you’re wearing proper uniform or not.
  3. When you’re getting paid millions of dollars, don’t risk getting fired by playing in an unsanctioned charity event.
  4. Contracts, contracts, contracts are what make a good basketball player.
  5. Don’t give your 100% if it’s just practice drills. Injuries aren’t worth it.
